Robotic Choledochal Cyst Excision with Hepatico-Jejunostomy

Description

Choledochal cysts are excised upon diagnosis as they have a risk of complications including stone formation, obstructive jaundice, recurrent cholangitis and rare malignant transformation. traditionally this was doen by an open approach through a sub-costal incision. Here we have done the same using the DaVinci Si robot, which significantly hastened the patient's recovery.
