Description
Strictures of the upper ureter are a difficult problem to manage. Renal pelvic flap, boari flap or ureteroureterostomy may not always be successful because of a small pelvis, long length of stricture and other factors. Ileal ureteral interposition is a challenging procedure with high morbidity. We describe our technique of ureteroplasty using augmentation by buccal mucosa as a minimally invasive way to treat strictures of the upper ureter
