Here we intend to describe the procedure of robotic trans-abdominal right adrenalectomy. Our patient is a 26yr lady, who is a known case of Secondary Hypertension with Right Phaeochromocytoma and was planned for adrenalectomy. Robotic Right Adrenalectomy was performed via transabdominal approach with Da Vinci Xi Robotic System using 5 ports ( 3 for robotic system and 2 for assistant trocars). The added stability, 3 dimensional view and improved ergonomics of the robotic system allows for precise dissection of the tumour from the liver and the IVC. A non-absorbable polymer clip was used to secure the primary right adrenal vein before division, while the rest of the vessels were divided using harmonic vessel sealer. The specimen was recovered using a specimen retrieval bag.
