We present our initial experience in robotic hepatectomy. A 62 years gentleman, Jejunal GIST survivor s/p tumour resection with adequate margins 3 years back, pT3N0M0, mitotic index 10/50 hpf, Ki-67 index – 8-10% and adjuvant targeted therapy (Tab. Imatinib 400 OD) for 3 years; presented to us with Isolated Secondary in Segment – III, Left Lobe Liver, measuring 6.3x5.9x5.9 cm (SUV max – 11.8). The Left lateral Hepatectomy was performed with the Da Vinci Xi Robotic System. For parenchymal transection, Robotic Vessel Sealer was used. For left portal pedicle and left hepatic vein transection – Laparoscopic Endo GIA Vascular Stapler / White 45 mm- 2.5 mm was used. Post-operative recovery was excellent and patient was discharged on postoperative day 3
