  • We demonstrate a proof of principle concept- A Robotic Posterior Exenteration with S3 down Sacrectomy for Locally recurrent rectal cancer after a prior low anterior resection. The essence of this operation is performance of the entire visceral component of the resection robotically without the need for an abdominal incision, thereby significantly reducing the morbidity of the procedure.
